Boris Bing.
Helmet, fur, wire, leather, 2003.

A wearable performance based project created for my graduate year of art school. Boris is a manifestation of memory made physical in an alternate reality, constructed from various guises of soft toys, road kill and stuffed animals.

I think of him as the grown up version of our childhood toys — if they were to grow with us and inhabit the lost spaces of our mind.
