Bronze, 2016.

I have a tree at home inhabited by rats who knaw at the walnuts that grow on it. I collect them, clean and dry them, and select the ones which are most visually intriguing.

I enjoy the cranial likeness of walnuts and was perturbed by the violent (yet nurturing) act of the rat. So felt pairing my sculptures with twig shoots felt fitting.
